Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can anyone register as a broker on the platform?
No. While our platform is free, access is restricted only to well-trained and/or experienced brokers. All broker registrations are manually reviewed. This means you will not immediately gain access to the platform. Typically, we will require a broker attempting to register as an experienced broker to be verifiable. Decisions are made based on a review on a case-by-case basis. We utilize several commercial capital broker databases or confirm completion of our partner broker training programs. Currently, we only recognize 3 broker training programs. Due to our legal agreements with lender partners, brokers who are not verified through our vetted training programs must provide evidence of substantial transaction volume. If you wish to proceed, our general counsel will need to review documentation confirming that you have originated significant volume across all financial facility categories listed on our platform. Typically, we require evidence of at least $10M+ in funded volume per financial facility type, including: • SBA 7(a) and 504 loans • Equipment financing • Merchant Cash Advances (MCAs) • Factoring • Significant holistic transaction volume of well rounded experience for all real estate asset classes and facility types • Lines of credit (LOCs) • Working capital loans We conduct this review on a case-by-case basis, but in order to move forward, we will need to see substantial experience across all these financial instruments. Please Note: Brokers must also be a member of the Commercial Capital Broker Association to access our platform. ***Please note we do not endorse most broker training programs due to their in ability to adhere to the CCBA's Code of Conduct for working within the industry. We strongly caution anyone considering becoming a broker to vet their chosen program with us directly. Please avoid any groups that do not freely allow brokers and lenders to work with any party of their choosing regardless of if they have paid a fee or if they are member. We also strongly discourage any for-profit associations or conference only associations. The Commercial Capital Broker Association and the American Association of Private Lenders are the only associations we actively endorse in the industry.***
